WASHINGTON, July 23 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, ranking Democratic member of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, issued the following opening statement at a hearing entitled "Challenges for Cannabis and Banking: Outside Perspectives":
