TALLAHASSEE, Florida, July 19 -- Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Florida, issued the following news release:
Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the Pensacola area added 1,900 new private-sector jobs in the past year. The area's unemployment rate was 3.5 percent in June, down 0.3 percentage point from one year ago.
The industry with the highest growth over the year in the Pensacola area was education and health services with 1,100 new jobs. In June, Pensacola area had 6,825 job . . .
