WASHINGTON, July 16 -- Rep. Alma S. Adams, D-North Carolina, issued the following statement after voting in support of the resolution condemning President Trump's racist comments directed at members of Congress:
"I was proud to vote for the resolution condemning the President's harmful tweets, and profoundly disappointed that my Republican colleagues would not stand up and do what was right.
"Their refusal to rebuke the President's racist and divisive comment . . .
