RALEIGH, North Carolina, July 18 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina, Robert J. Higdon Jr., issued the following news release:

The United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina partnered with the FBI and AARP to promote the Department of Justice's Elder Justice Iniative by conducting outreach and educating older adults about the latest scams so they do not fall victim.
