ORLANDO, Florida, July 18 -- The Amateur Athletic Union issued the following news:
The biggest track and field event in Florida wrapped up on Saturday, July 13. The seven-day meet hosted 426 teams, consisting of 5,152 athletes in feats on the field and around the track. The first two days were ruled by the multi-events which saw a total of 288 athletes in the pentathlon, heptathlon and decathlon. Day three and four were dominated by the 100m and 200m preliminaries.
