TALLAHASSEE, Florida, June 26 -- The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration issued the following statement by Secretary Mary Mayhew in response to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' signing of the state budget:
"Our Agency oversees Florida's $28 billion Medicaid Program that serves close to four million recipients each month and is responsible for covering over 60 percent of child births in the state.
