TALLAHASSEE, Florida, June 21 -- Florida Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee issued the following statement regarding Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' signing of the budget:
"I applaud Governor Ron DeSantis for signing the 2019-2020 budget, which includes $2.8 million for election security. Governor DeSantis has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to ensuring Florida's elections are protected, and this additional funding will help address any areas of critical need in our elections syst . . .
