WASHINGTON, June 21 -- Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, D-Florida, a member of the House Judiciary Committee, issued the following statement regarding opening an impeachment inquiry:
"I did not run for office to impeach the President. I ran to lower health care costs, protect our communities from gun violence, and preserve our environment.
