WASHINGTON, June 18 -- Rep. Robert E. Latta, R-Ohio, issued the following news release:
Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) today sent a letter to United States Department of Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue regarding the severe and unprecedented rainfall impacting farmers in Northwest and West Central Ohio.
The letter urges Secretary Perdue to approve an agriculture disaster declaration should the agency receive a request for one from the state of Ohio.
