Day Takes Charge of DLA Logistics Operations

WASHINGTON, June 17 -- The U.S. Department of Defense's Defense Logistics Agency issued the following news:

Air Force Maj. Gen. Allan E. Day assumed the role as director of Defense Logistics Agency Logistics Operations June 17. He replaced Air Force Maj. Gen. Mark Johnson.

Day previously served as the director of logistics, civil engineering, force protection and nuclear integration at Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
