TALLAHASSEE, Florida, June 18 -- Florida A&M University, a component of the public university system in Florida, issued the following news:

Florida A&M University (FAMU) will receive $13.7 million in new funding for the 2019-2020 fiscal year as part of the Florida Board of Governors (BOG) Performance-Based Funding allocation.
