WASHINGTON, May 8 -- Rep. Kay Granger, R-Texas, ranking Republican member of the House Appropriations Committee, issued the following news release:
Today, the Full Committee met to consider the fiscal year 2020 Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education Subcommittee's appropriations bill. Committee Republicans were unable to support the bill due to several new policy proposals included in the bill and a total spending level the President has made clear he will not support.
