Sanders Responds After Trump Vetoes Yemen Resolution

BURLINGTON, Vermont, April 16 -- The office of Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, issued the following news release:

U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) issued the following statement after President Donald Trump vetoed the resolution to end U.S. support for the Saudi-led war in Yemen:

"I am disappointed, but not surprised, that Trump has rejected the bi-partisan resolution to end U.S. involvement in the horrific war in Yemen. The people of Yemen desperately need humanit . . .
