COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 15 -- The Ohio Environmental Council issued the following statement by Vice President of Policy Kristy Meyer:
Today, the Ohio Environmental Council submitted comments urging the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to protect Ohio's waterways. The U.S. EPA has proposed a rule (Dirty Water Rule) that changes the definition of Waters of the United States (WOTUS) eliminating protections for 50 percent of the nation's remaining wetlands and approximately 18 percen . . .
