WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Sen. Richard J. Durbin, D-Illinois, issued the following statement:

Senate Democratic Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL), Ranking Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Immigration Subcommittee, today released the following statement after President Donald Trump declared a national emergency in order to circumvent Congress and access funds to build a wall on the southern border:
