NAFCU's Cohen: Headwinds are Increasing for the Auto Market

WASHINGTON, Jan. 4 -- [TNStrends] -- The National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions issued the following statement by Research Assistant Yun Cohen in response to the release of Moody's December vehicle sales data:

"Vehicle sales edged up in December as interest rates on auto loans decreased for the second consecutive month. According to Edmunds, low-rate finance deals during the holiday sales period contributed to the temporary dip.
