Cincinnati Public Schools: Students 'Gear Up!' for 19th Annual Accounting for Kids Day

CINCINNATI, Ohio, Nov. 15 -- Cincinnati Public Schools issued the following news release:
It was a game of strategy, rolling of the dice and getting acquainted with a few key finance terms like deposit, budget and donation.
Approximately 3,400 students in 122 classrooms across the district put their financial skills to the test during the 19th Annual Accounting for Kids (AFK) Day. In 1999, the first year of the event, only 20 classrooms participated.
