Mayor Bowser Rescinds State of Emergency Order Previously Issued Ahead of Hurricane Florence

WASHINGTON, Sept. 13 -- District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser issued the following news release:

As Hurricane Florence is projected to have a diminished effect in the District, Mayor Muriel Bowser has rescinded her state of emergency declaration, effective immediately.
