Marine Life Flies Outside UN as World Meets to Discuss Global Ocean Treaty

NEW YORK, Sept. 4 -- Greenpeace issued the following news release:

Greenpeace activists flew a giant turtle outside the United Nations headquarters in New York this morning, as countries gathered to begin negotiations, for the first time in history, towards a treaty covering all oceans outside of national borders.
