LINCOLN, Nebraska, Aug. 15 -- Gov. Pete Ricketts, R-Nebraska, issued the following news release:
The Governor's Office, along with ServeNebraska, also known as the Nebraska Volunteer Service Commission, is encouraging private citizens, businesses, service clubs, nonprofits, educational institutions, faith-based organizations, and local government agencies across the state to nominate their outstanding volunteers for statewide recognition by August 27.
