WASHINGTON, May 17 -- Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, issued the following statement, which was published in the Congressional Record on May 16, on the House Judiciary Committee transcript release:
Mr. President, I want to address an issue that was brought up by the minority leader on the floor this morning. I want to respond to the false statements made by the very misinformed minority leader this morning--and I mean really misinformed.
