The City of Tampa 's Department of Transportation & Stormwater Services is responsible for building and maintaining transportation and storm water infrastructure. Its functions are very critical to the citizens of the City. They include providing safe mobility by maintaining right of way assets like roads, traffic signs and signals, pavement markings, storm water drainage, and movable bridges.
