TALLAHASSEE, Florida, Jan. 17 -- The Florida Bar issued the following news release:

The Second Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission has submitted six names to Gov. Rick Scott for consideration and appointment to fill the vacancy on the Circuit Court in Leon County created by the resignation of Judge Charles Francis. The nominees are:

1. Georgia Cappleman

2. Eddie Evans

3. Cedell Garland

4. Joseph Jones

5. James Marsh . . .
