Nuclear Energy Institute Issues Statement on Plant Vogtle Reactor Construction

WASHINGTON, Dec. 21 -- The Nuclear Energy Institute issued the following statement by NEI President and CEO Maria Korsnick in response to the announcement that the Georgia Public Service Commission unanimously approved an order allowing continued construction of two additional reactors at Plant Vogtle:
"Completing the Plant Vogtle expansion is good for America on many levels, especially in terms of our national security, our commitment to a cleaner environment, and energy diver . . .
