ATLANTA, Georgia, Dec. 21 -- The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy issued the following news release:
In a unanimous vote this morning, the five-elected members of the Georgia Public Service Commission (PSC) ignored their own Staff's recommendations and that of other intervenors, including the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy (SACE), by failing to institute clear protections for Georgia Power customers from the bungled Plant Vogtle nuclear expansion in Burke County along the Sava . . .
