WASHINGTON, Dec. 14 -- Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Florida, ranking Democratic member of the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee, issued the following statement on the Federal Communications Commission's 3-2 vote to dismantle the Obama-era net neutrality rules:
"Today, in a strictly partisan vote, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Republicans turned their backs on consumers by voting to give internet providers the ability to decide what websites their customers . . .
