NEW YORK, Dec. 12 -- The NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund issued the following statement by Policy Director Todd A. Cox on the report that Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, is advising the White House to reconsider the nominations of Brett Talley and Jeff Mateer to serve on the federal bench:
