WILMINGTON, Del., March 13 -- New Castle County issued the following news release:
New Castle County Executive Paul G. Clark announced today that the county will begin a new police recruit academy this spring, with a planned opening date of June 11. The academy - the 37th in county history -- will mark the first time since 1999 that the county has conducted two police recruit classes in the same calendar year. Twenty recruits who have been training since last November are tentativ . . .
