WASHINGTON, Sept. 8 -- The office of Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) announced that the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is awarding up to $3.1 million to the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) for advanced biofuel technology development. PNNL will use the funds to partner with the private sector to develop biofuel for future commercial applications that can be interchangeable with gasoline, diesel . . .
