PHOENIX, Sept. 6 -- The city of Phoenix issued the following news release:
Mayor Phil Gordon was appointed as a member of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Local Government Advisory Committee to represent mayors across the nation by EPA Administrator Lisa P. Jackson. This is a two-year term commitment beginning August 30, 2010.
