COLUMBIA, S.C., Sept. 3 -- The South Carolina Department of Transportation issued the following news release:
South Carolina Transportation Secretary H.B. Limehouse Jr. has issued an emergency order to replace the bridge on S-23-453 (Rocky Creek Road) over Rock Creek near Simpsonville in Greenville County.
A recent inspection this week has revealed that a timber pile that was previously repaired has been severely damaged by debris.
