TOPEKA, Kan., Sept. 2 -- The Kansas Department of Health and Environment issued the following news release:
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment's (KDHE) Vital Statistics Office has returned to normal operations after a three-day deployment of about 50 agency volunteers to eliminate the backlog of ordinary vital record requests.
