NEW DELHI, Sept. 2 -- The government of India issued the following news release from the Ministry of Environment and Forests:

Two industrial clusters-Ludhiana and Mandi Gobindgarh in Punjab fall under critically polluted areas and two industrial clusters - Batala and Jalandhar fall under seriously polluted areas.
