LAWRENCE, Kan., Aug. 31 -- The University of Kansas issued the following news release:
Services for Jessica Nicole Roark, a graduate of the University of Kansas from Meriden who earned two degrees while battling cancer, will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, at Lawrence Funeral Chapel, 3821 W. Sixth St.
Roark died Aug. 23 in Houston. She was the daughter of John and Lori Roark of Meriden and Charlena Eckert of North Kansas City, Mo. She was a 2002 graduate of Jeffers . . .
