NEWARK, Del., Aug. 30 -- Delaware Department of Transportation issued the following news release:
The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces that Old Cooches Bridge Road from Route 896 to Old Baltimore Pike in Newark will be closed from 7:30 a.m. through 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 2.
DelDOT will be removing a tree, which is a safety hazard to motorists. Speed tables will also be installed to replace the speed cushions, which are currently on the roadway. . . .
