RALEIGH, N.C., Aug. 26 -- The North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources Division of Wildlife Resources issued the following news release:
The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission approved the peregrine season at its Aug. 25 meeting. The season for permitted take begins Sept. 20 and runs through Oct. 20, and is restricted to that portion of North Carolina east of U.S. Hwy. 17.
