CA Energy Commission Licenses East Bay Power Plant

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Aug. 26 -- The California Energy Commission issued the following news release:

The California Energy Commission approved the construction of the Marsh Landing Generating Station (MLGS) power plant project in Contra Costa County.

"By ensuring that this natural gas facility met all appropriate environmental, regulatory, and technical concerns, the Commission determined the energy needs of Bay Area will be balanced with protecting the local env . . .
