LIBERTY, Mo., Aug. 25 -- William Jewell College issued the following news release:
Washington Monthly magazine has named William Jewell College to its list of nationally ranked liberal arts colleges that contribute to the public good. Jewell claimed the number 89 position out of 252 similar schools based on measures of social mobility, research and service. The College was the highest ranked institution in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
