SAN JOSE, Calif., Aug. 24 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Service California office issued the following news release:
Today, the Santa Clara Valley Water District Board of Directors voted unanimously to award a construction contract to R&L Brosamer, Inc. for up to $29.8 million to begin the second phase of a federally funded flood protection and habitat enhancement project on Lower Silver Creek in San Jose.
