FIVE HILLS TRAINING AREA, Mongolia, Aug. 23 -- The Alaska Department of Military and Veterans Affairs issued the following news release:
An Alaska National Guardsman had the unique opportunity to train with Mongolian troops to prepare for a deployment to Afghanistan as a U.S. liaison with the Mongolian Armed Forces.
Maj. Kyle Holt, 761st Military Police Battalion, Alaska National Guard, was able to travel to Five Hills Training Area outside of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia . . .
