CHARLOTTE, N.C., Aug. 24 -- Rep. Sue Myrick, R-N.C. (9th CD), issued the following news release:
A year after Federal and local law enforcement officials announced their application, Mecklenburg, Gaston and Union Counties have been designated as a High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA). They will be included as part of the Atlanta HIDTA.
