RALEIGH, N.C., Aug. 19 -- The North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources' Division of Coastal Management issued the following news release:
The N.C. Coastal Resources Commission has invited several coastal North Carolina stakeholders to participate in a workshop to discuss the current status of rules governing sandbag use on the N.C. oceanfront, and to gather input on options for the future of the commission's sandbag rules.
