HARTFORD, Conn., Aug. 19 -- Trinity College has issued the following news release:
Cristina Conti '11, is among five college students to be named a 2010 recipient of a Jim Murray Scholarship, awarded by the foundation that is named for the award-winning journalist who was a long-time columnist for The Los Angeles Times and is enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.
Each year, a handful of students are selected to receive a $5,000 scholarship . . .
