COLUMBUS, Ohio, Aug. 19 -- The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency issued the following news release:
Ohio EPA has approved a water quality certification for Oxford Mining Company LLC's West Mine surface mining project in Sections 21 and 22 of Rush Township (Tuscarawas County). The certification authorizes impacts to unnamed tributary streams to Crooked Creek.
Mitigation measures will offset those impacts.
