NEW DELHI, Aug. 18 - The government of India issued the following news release from the Ministry of Environment and Forests:
The Ministry has received 20 proposals pertaining to exploration and mining of Uranium so far. They include 14 proposals for exploration. The remaining 6 proposals for mining of Uranium have been accorded forest clearance.
