NEW DELHI, Aug. 18 - The government of India issued the following news release from the Ministry of Environment and Forests:
The Planning Commission, as part of its plan formulation exercise, allocates funds for various Ministries. For the schemes of the Ministry of Environment & Forests, an allocation of Rs 10,000 crores was made for its 11th Five Year Plan (2007-12), within which allocation of Rs. 1351 crores was approved for 2007-08, Rs. 1500 crores for 2008-09, Rs. 1880 cr . . .
