NEW DELHI, Aug. 18 - The government of India issued the following news release from the Ministry of Environment and Forests:
Under Ganga Action Plan Phase-II, a scheme 'Construction of bathing ghat at Brijghat, Garhmukteshwar' was sanctioned by the Central Government. An amount of Rs. 104.83 lakh was released to U.P. Irrigation Department for implementation. The scheme was completed in June, 2009. Under the scheme, a 79 meter long bathing ghat along with one changing roo . . .
