CHENEY, Wash., Aug. 18 -- Eastern Washington University issued the following news release:
As part of its effort to improve campus safety and emergency preparedness, the Eastern Washington University Police Department will host an extensive active shooter training drill on Thursday, Aug. 19, on the Cheney campus.
The exercise will include emergency response teams from around the region, including the Washington State Patrol, Cheney Police and Fire and Fairchild Air . . .
