RALEIGH, N.C., Aug. 18 -- The North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources Division of Wildlife Resources issued the following news release:
The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission is alerting hunters that the first four open days of dove season on Sandy Mush Game Land in Buncombe and Madison counties are now permit only.
Permits are still available on a first-come first-serve basis through any license agent or by calling 1-888-248-6834.
