SALEM, Ore., Aug. 17 -- The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality issued the following news release:
The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has issued $12,422 in penalties to East Side Plating Inc., which operates an industrial metal plating facility at 8400 SE 26th Place, Portland, for hazardous waste violations.
The penalties stem from two separate inspections DEQ conducted at the facility in December 2009 and in April 2010.
